Somewhere from the depths of despair comes hope!  
First and foremost it is with regret that I have to inform you that Uckfield have withdrawn from the 'B' League, being unable to sustain a side despite the sterling efforts of the coaches. The League Tables have been adjusted accordingly as per Regulations and are attached. Given that this League has now shrunk considerably I did look at reorganising it on a Home/Away basis but regretfully with the recent spate of bad weather this has not proved feasible in the time remaining and the number of matches that we would need to fit in. (As an afterthought I am of a mind to exclude teams from the Leagues next season that were unable to meet their obligations this season - something to consider at Forums.)  

The reduction in the number of teams participating in the 'B' League therefore reduces the number of teams participating in the Colts Cup, and Haywards Heath informed me prior to the start of the season that they did not wish to participate in the Colts Cup. As a consequence there is no necessity to have as many preliminary matches as previously required. I have therefore reorganised the Colts Cup Fixtures, only small alterations, as attached, but this does free up a weekend to an extent on which to play some of the games that need to be rearranged because of the weather. 

Following on from that it now behoves me to have a look at the dates for the postponed matches to be replayed, having regard to all the various scenarios that have a bearing on the matter. Some of you have already rearranged fixtures, agreed with your opposition, and I have endeavoured to honour those where ever possible.

Please find attached the Fixture Lists for the 'A' and 'B' Leagues that designate the dates that the rearranged matches WILL be played, subject to Regulations, i.e. pitches at both Clubs must be unplayable before a fixture can be postponed. Cancellation of a fixture brings its own rewards! You will note that two fixtures still have t.b.a. against them as it is not possible at this time to define a date when these games will be played as it is dependant on the outcome of the various rounds of the Colts Cup.  

 Results and Table will be carried on www.rfu.com when the Rugbyfirst format is opened for public viewing.

All Competition matches shall be played on the designated date unless adverse weather intervenes and pitches at both Clubs are unplayable. Any Club cancelling a fixture other than for unfit pitches at both sides' grounds will be deducted three League points. Matches may be played earlier than the designated date if both sides are agreed and the League Administrator has been duly informed. (Regulation 4)
